A rare and fine Tudor Submariner, reference 7016.
Stainless steel Rolex Oyster case, twist back, waterproof, 40mm diameter, semi-pointed-crown-guards, downturned lugs. Original bi-rotational bezel with ghost faded insert, missing pearl.
Case appears to maintain the original polished finish with sharp chamfers.
Original matte black dial with applied luminous plots, gilt radial indexes, in excellent condition.
Printed "Tudor Oyster Prince" with Rose logo below 12 o'clock and "200m=660ft, Submariner, Rotor Self-Winding" print at 6 o'clock.
Original white hands, lollipop seconds with luminous infill.
Original Rolex screw-down winding crown.
Replacement hesalite plexi crystal.
Tudor calibre 2483 automatic winding movement, unserviced and in perfect order.
Original Rolex stainless steel 7836 folded link bracelet and clasp with 380 end links.
Original Tudor by Rolex hinged box without insert.
Acquired from the original owner, a U.S Navy Diver, who purchased the watch new in 1969.
