A rare and fine Jaeger LeCoultre Military Calatrava, Calibre 469A.
Stainless steel case, snap-on back, 33.50mm diameter, angled bezel, downturned lugs. Case back does not seal completely with the case. Case appears to maintain the original factory finish.
Original gloss black dial, printed white outer minutes scale, applied luminous arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock, in excellent condition.
Printed "Jaeger LeCoultre" in white below 12 o'clock.
Original steel sword hands with remnants of luminous infill.
Original crown.
Original plexi crystal.
Jaeger LeCoultre Caliber 469A manual winding movement, unserviced and in good running order.
Brand new swedish leather band with steel buckle.
Acquired from the family of the original owner who served in the French Military during WWII.
