Breitling Navitimer Chronograph, ref. 806, in gold & steel
A rare and fine Breitling Navitimer Chronograph, reference 806.
Gold filled and stainless steel, snap back case, 42mm diameter, faceted downturned lugs, beads-of-rice bezel. Case maintains the original factory finish and has developed a lovely patina.
Original black gilt-gloss dial with applied arabic numerals, in excellent condition. Gilt print "Breitling" with winged logo below 12 o'clock and gilt print "Navitimer" above 6 o'clock. Chronograph subsidiary minutes dial at 3 o'clock, subsidiary hours dial at 6 o'clock and running second dial at 9 o'clock. Rotating white inner slide-rule with black print scale.
Radium luminous removed at a previous service.
Original service-replacement gold toned sword hands with luminous infill and white subsidiary seconds hands.
Original signed "B" gold plated crown. Original gold-filled round chronograph pushers.
Breitling signed Venus 178 manual winding movement, recently serviced and in good running order.
Brand new canvas and leather band with steel buckle.
